Plant-for-the-Planet Academy Leutkirch on 21 April 2018
The second Plant-for-the-Planet Academy initiated and supported by the elobau foundation went off without a hitch. Not even the hot summer temperature could deter 61 enthusiastic young conservationists from planting 350 new trees (oak and alder) in the Leutkirch municipal forest. The work was quickly completed under the expert leadership of Karl-Josef Martin and another colleague. Some children even took a few young trees with them to plant at home. The children were accompanied by a handful of Plant-for-the-Planet employees and teachers. The academy also conveys a lot of background information, thus turning the interested children into climate ambassadors. Which our Earth will thank us for!
